The Amaks Hotel is conveniently located right on the picturesque shore of the Volkhov River, close to the historical sights of Veliky Novgorod. AMAKS, as they say, is also AMAKS in Africa! We have been to Rostov and Voronezh in this hotel chain! "Amaks Russia" in Veliky Novgorod has a difference — a view of the Volkhov River! The hotel is located right on the embankment, a 5—minute walk from the Kremlin - ideal for tourists. The room was clean and cozy. There is everything you need: Wi-Fi, TV, safe, hairdryer, kettle. The staff was polite, helped with the check—in and even offered an upgrade - a pleasant surprise. The buffet breakfast is varied and delicious: pancakes, porridge, eggs, pastries. Its 3 stars — full compliance with expectations. Bottom line: a reliable chain hotel with an excellent location. I recommend it for a comfortable stay and business trips. I hope it will be even better after the renovation!

The staff is friendly. The restaurant's menu is decent, everything is delicious and varied. The rooms are clean and cozy. Good location, near the center, the Kremlin. There is a parking lot. You can walk along the Volkhov embankment, there are benches and good lighting. Nearby Yaroslavovo dvorishche, I highly recommend a visit.

We stayed for one night. I really liked the hotel! The room is well renovated, all plumbing works perfectly, perfect cleanliness. Very nice prices. The view of the river is excellent! There was no declared buffet for breakfast, because there were very few guests in the hotel, but despite this, the breakfast was hearty, and the coffee was especially good. The location of the hotel is the best in the city - a beautiful embankment, near the Gorbaty Bridge, the Kremlin, Bolshaya Moskovskaya Street. If we come to Novgorod again, we will come only to "Russia". Thank you very much!

The hotel is not bad, the food is good, the rooms are comfortable, but the pillows are just DISGUSTING, my neck aches after a night of such torture, please buy normal pillows, do not torment the guests. Sleep is the most important factor of good mood and well-being. Thanks????

We stayed at the hotel this weekend on 29-30/11, the hotel left the most pleasant impressions, we thank the reception manager Diana (who worked on 29/11),very polite treatment of customers,checked in at 12-00,instead of 15-00, the weather is not good outside, but the hotel staff is friendly, delicious breakfast, the room is comfortable and comfortable. This is not the first time we have stayed at this hotel, we are satisfied with everything, attitude, location (close to the old town and the Kremlin, beautiful view of the embankment).
