A wonderful hotel, we booked a standard room for 5 days, upon check-in we were accommodated in business class with a view of the Volkhov River and the Kremlin, a gift from the hotel! Very nice view from the balcony to the Volkhov River, motor ships, boats are floating. Very tasty and varied breakfasts.

We stayed for 3 nights, we really liked the hotel, the location was great, the view of the river, the Kremlin, the sunset, we took a room with a balcony, quiet, far from the road, the breakfasts were very varied, delicious, we had enough until the evening, we congratulated you on your birthday during breakfast, presented you with a beautifully decorated cake, presented you with a mug, a pen, said beautiful wishes, it was very nice, everything is clean, the rooms are not large, but cozy, the staff are polite, I recommend it, would you like to leave????

AMAKS ROSSIYA Hotel Veliky Novgorod My trip was from St. Petersburg to Veliky Novgorod on August 21-22. I booked the hotel in advance, the standard room (without a view). A day earlier, the hotel called with a request to confirm the reservation and the time of arrival. My train arrived at 10:40 a.m., I asked for check–in upon arrival, and the answer is if it works. At 11 o'clock I was at the hotel and the first news was that your room was ready, and the second was a free upgrade, a BUSINESS room with a view of the river!!! Hurray! The room is great, the view is beautiful, cleanliness, comfort, huge bed, large shower, balcony! I dropped off my things and went for a walk around the most beautiful, ancient city, and in the evening there was a gala concert of the Sofia Festival on Sofia Square.Rachmaninoff, where Denis Matsuev was not only the organizer, but also the performer! In the morning, I had a wonderful breakfast with a huge selection and grain coffee (which is important to me)! There is a luggage room in the lobby of the hotel, which I used after breakfast, having checked in the room, because the return train was in the evening. After walking around, riding on a tour boat, I came to the hotel and the restaurant. There are set meals (800 rubles), very convenient, fast and very tasty! Thank you for the warm welcome! Nice hotel, new rooms, good repair. There is also a buffet and a Sadko robot that cleans up dirty dishes. Good location near the embankment and the Kremlin in 10-15 minutes walk.
